Bible study with Russian immigrant Jews

During the lockdown, we continued to study and fellowship the Bible with Zoom, and after the lockdown was over, we gathered again to study the Bible. This time, we especially invited our friend Kathryn, an American, to hear her testimony and it was an amazing moment to testify of her life and work, who made everyone in the group shout Hallelujah!! In particular, Zina, who does not yet believe in Jesus, was touched very deeply and she was surprised and reconsidered God through Kathryn’s life with our living God. How grateful it is. Our meeting, which was supposed to meet every two weeks a month, was suggested to meet once a week. From this meeting, we read the Gospel of Matthew and studied the birth of Jesus. We sincerely hope that they will have the grace to meet the Lord personally.

락다운 기간에는 계속해서 줌으로 성경공부와 친교를 하였고 락다운이 끝나고선 다시 모여 성경 공부를 합니다. 이번엔 특별히 친구인 미국인 Kathryn을 초대해서 그녀의 삶에 대한 간증을 들었는데 모인 모두에게 할렐루야!!를 외치게 했던 그분의 살아 역사하심이 간증되는 놀라운 순간이였습니다. 특히 아직 예수님을 믿지 않는 지나(Zina)는 온 얼굴이 상기되어 놀라워하며 대단한 삶을 살았다고 하나님을 다시 생각하게 된다고 고백했습니다.

얼마나 감사한 순간인지 모릅니다. 한달에 매 2주마다 모이기로 했던 저희 모임은 1주일에 한번씩 모이자고 제안되었고 이번 모임부터는 마태복음을 읽으며 예수님의 탄생을 공부했습니다. 정말 이들에게 주님을 인격적으로 만나는 은혜가 있길 간절히 소망합니다.
