Caesarea

We visited Caesarea. It is like a Roman resort built by King Herod at the time of Jesus.

Roman amphitheaterand public sauna site still remain. Most impressively, there is still a place where the apostle Paul appealed to the emperor to Rome. The blue Mediterranean sea is so beautiful. Beyond that sea, Paul risked his life to preach the gospel and left for Rome. My heart was broken and we think of Paul's life.

우리는 가이사랴를 방문했다. 예수님 당시 헤롯왕이 지은 로마식 휴양지로 원형경기장,극장, 공중 사우나터가 그대로 보존되어 있다. 무엇보다 인상적인 것은 이곳에 사도 바울이 로마로 황제에게 상고한 장소가 아직 남아 있다는 것이다. 푸른 지중해 바 다가 너무 아름답다. 저 바다 넘어 바울은 복음을 전하고자 생명을 걸고 로마로 떠났다. 마음이 아프면서 바울의 삶을 생각 할수 있었다.
