Helping Jewish lady raising Jacob's sheep

We got a call from a member. Jenna Lewinski, who was once promising as an engineer in Canada, was a call from a single mom who needed help. She is a Jewish woman who immigrated from Canada to Israel with 119 Jacob's sheep (4-6 horns) when the Lord gave this woman a vision in 2017. She lives in the field of Boaz, a field near Bethlehem called Ephrat, where David raised sheep and Solomon built a water channel to draw water to Jerusalem. There is neither electricity nor water. Arabs have settled and lived around her place, so she is always a thorn in the eyes. There are many attacks, such as throwing stones, throwing glass bottles, Arab village dogs coming to attack sheep or trying to smash cars, but she is holding on. Looking at this brave woman, we started to ask where this kind of faith comes from. Currently, she lives in a trailer with her one-year-old son David with about 50 sheep. When she first settled here, she lived in a tourist tent. However, due to the ongoing financial crisis, her husband left Jenna back to Canada, and we visit her every week to deliver groceries, waters, baby supplies and necessary supplies to support her who is on this journey of faith alone.

Currently, Jenna is terrorized by Arabs, and it is urgent to install a fence that will protect the area around the house and the fence with sheep. So, we are raising funds through gofund, an American Jewish organization and an organization that helps Israeli Messianic Jews. Thankfully, we got the donation so we will be able to install a window and a door to Jenna's house. A few days ago, the news that new puppies were infected with parvovirus and all 10 puppies died, so we are praying earnestly that the sheep will not be contagious. Please pray for this brave woman, her son and her sheeps.

한 지체로부터 전화가 걸려왔습니다. 캐나다에서 엔지니어로 한때는 유망했던 제나라는 싱글맘이 도움이 필요하다는 전화였습니다. 2017년 주님이 이 친구에게 비전을 주셔서 119마리의 야곱의 양(아롱지고 뿔이4~6개)을 데리고 캐나다에서 이스라엘로 이민 온 유대인 친구입니다. 이 친구가 사는 곳이 다름아닌 보아스의 field이자, 다윗이 양을 키우던, 그리고 솔로몬이 예루살렘 성으로 물을 끌어오기 위해 물수로를 만들어 둔 에프랏이라고 하는 베들레헴 근처의 벌판입니다. 전기도 물도 들어오지 않습니다. 주변에는 아랍인들이 정착하여 살고 있기에 늘 이 친구는 이곳에서 눈의 가시입니다. 돌을 던지기도 하고 유리병을 던지기도 하고 아랍 마을 개들이 양을 공격하기 위해 온다던지 차를 부수려고 한다던지 많은 공격이 있지만 이 친구는 꿋꿋하게 버티고 있습니다. 어디서 이런 믿음이 나오는지 과연 우리가 믿는 믿음이란 무엇인지 이 친구를 보며 반문하게 되었습니다. 현재는 50마리 정도되는 양을 데리고 1살된 아들 데이빗과 트레일러에서 생활하고 있습니다. 처음 이 친구가 이곳에 정착 했을 때는 여행자용 텐트에서 생활했다고 하니 지금은 그에 비하면 궁전입니다. 그런데 계속 되는 재정난에 남편은 다시 캐나다로 제나를 두고 가버렸고, 홀로 이 믿음의 여정을 하고 있기게 저희는 매주 이 친구를 방문해 생필품과 식재료 빛 필요한 물품들을 전해주고 있습니다.

현재 제나는 아랍인들로부터 테러를 당해서 집 주변과 양들이 있는 울타리를 둘러 보호해줄 Fence 설치가 시급합니다. 그래서 미국 유대인 단체와 이스라엘 현지 메시아닉 유대인을 돕는 단체, gofund를 통해 fund raising을 하고 있습니다. 감사하게 제나에 대한 기도를 보시고 헌금을 보내주셔서 이번달엔 제나집에 창문과 방문을 달 수 있을 것 같습니다. 몇 일전 새로 태어난 강아지들이 파보바이러스에 감염되어 10마리의 강아지가 전부 죽었다는 소식을 전해와서 양들도 전염되지 않기를 간절히 기도하고 있습니다. 중보 부탁드립니다
