Youth Group Gathering, King of Kings Ministry 11/12/20

Israel government do not allow to gather any meeting within churches in Israel. Moreover, even believer, they are not willing to open their homes for children to come and study the Bible. So this month, we opened our house for youth groups to gather, and we had a good time for Bible studies, games, snacks and pizza together. But when kids got home, they asked if they can bring more chips to eat in their bags one by one. We felt that everybody was under all financial difficulties, so Kids can’t eat chips or pizzas as usual. Our kids are also waiting for the youth group. Because they can eat snacks once a week as much as they want in the meeting. It was time to discover that children's faith is deeper than our adults and that they have greater trust in God.

코로나로 이스라엘에선 교회내에서 유스그룹이 모일 수 없습니다 더욱이 아이들이 함께와서 성경을 공부하도록 집을 오픈하는 것을 꺼려합니다. 그래서 이번달엔 저희집에서 유스그룹이 모이도록 오픈하고 성경공부와 게임, 스낵과 피자를 함께 먹고 유익한 시간을 가졌습니다. 그런데 아이들이 집에 돌아갈 때 하나 둘 가방에 자기가 먹을 칩을 더 가져가도 되겠냐고 물어봅니다. 모두 재정적으로 어려워 이런 칩이나 피자를 먹지 못합니다. 저희 애들도 유스그룹을 기다립니다. 이렇게 마음껏 일주일에 한번 스낵을 먹을 수 있으니 말입니다. 아이들의 신앙이 어른인 우리보다 깊고 하나님에 대한 신뢰가 큰 것을 발견하는 시간이 되었습니다.
